I love the blade on this knife but the grip could definitely use improvement. The lightness of the handle compared to the weight of the blade gives it a poor balance. I also think the grip isn't big enough for a proper grip. I fixed this by putting a little metal weight in the hanging eye, and then wrapping the handle in paracord. In my opinion that balances it out and make the grip a comfortable size. I also had a custom kydex sheath made for it, the one it comes with is extremely cheap.

It's a versatile knife very handy around the house and yard great to take on camping trips this is a very good addition to my survival gear. However, it's not as sharp as a good samurai sword but, you can do a lot more with this knife than a sword..

As a United Staes merchant mariner, this is by far the best knife I've ever used at work...and belive me, I've used many.

I bought this product for my husband who was working in the swamps of south Georgia. He wanted something to carry in an emergency. He has used it for a wide variety of things.

The only problem was that the sheath for the knife split after the first week.

Great knife with versatile usage. First day I got it, put it to use just to see how well it performed. To my amazement it performed quite well. Even let a friend take it and use it during his survival training and he too is sold on this knife. Great handling, multiple uses for the novice to the professional. I used this item to cut rope to branches to small trees. Worked just as well for digging.
