Comments about 6 Ounce Instant Adhesive Tear Mender:

I use this glue to patch holes in my Fire hose pants. I will say my fire hose pants are the longest lasting pants I have ever owned and buy them exclusively, how ever, I do wear holes in my pants and pockets after some time. I keep an old pair of pants around for patch material and cut oval and round patches and use this glue to apply the patch. No sewing needed and the glue is dry when I wake in the morning.

Repaired my puter bag. Top outside pocket came undone at the seam and small stuff would slid out. Tucked in the edge into the seam and put a few light coats, then laid it on. Saved a $50 bag and my new blue tooth.
Repaired two dagger pocket on my pants at $55 each, I did sew them first them go oped them, works great, but do shake it well before use, and um a well ventilated area is good also, trust me on this one. I like it, good stuff.

Yep, that's what I said; Toss that needle and thread. Since I sew just so so, this was the best way for me to go. Got some more tests in store and I'll let you know!

Used to repair (patch) the palms of hockey gloves, and this worked perfectly. After several games, the repair shows no sign of problems.

Use on leather saddelry, harness & leather holsters.
Also mend otherwise used up leaky felt hats, outdoor coats & gear.
It'll make quick mends on ripped jeans & jackets.

There is only one surface that I have tried to mend that it wouldn't stick to at all; wouldn't even make a try & I won't name that because
it doesn't deserve an insult & most folks won't ever encounter that one so no one will ever know. nuff sed

We had carpet edges that were unraveling and we could not find an adhesive to stop the unraveling. I applied Tear Mender directly to the carpet, trimmed what had un-raveled, and let 'er dry. The result was much better than I expected and the carpet has remained together with no problems. The carpet was a dark gray and there is a bit of darkening within the carpet. For our office, it was perfect.

I got this to fix a sofa cushion that our dog tore. I expected it to let loose after a while. The tear was about 4 inches long and gaped open about half an inch. 5 years later and it holds strong still. It dries slightly darker than the fabric color and has a rubberized feel to it. Not extremely noticeable though.

Used this to repair several small holes/tears in denim jeans. I always seem to get tiny holes at the top stitch of the back pockets just when they're getting good and broken in. This stuff worked great and seems to be surviving washing. Be sure to read the directions and don't apply out of the bottle to avoid a noticeable, discolored repair. Use a toothpick or q-tip to just dab a little on the frayed area, working from the center out. Less is more here.
