I now have 3 of these in different sizes for the storage of camera gear, like lenses and bodies. Place box of silica gel in box with gear and you have a neat means of preventing fungus on lenses or internal corrosion in camera bodies. Boxes are easily labeled to indicate contents and the lids seem to provide an excellent seal. The lid clamp feels a bit anemic, so caution while lifting may be advised, but none of mine have opened inadvertently while being lifted. Much lighter than the WWII and later ammo boxes once available from Army surplus stores and these won't dent or rust.

I purchased these to transport 20+ ratchet straps and other binding materials for delivering BBQ firewood on my stands. I liked the bright color and the waterproofing. I leave my boxes sitting in the woods and pasture when not delivering wood.

I expected these to be a little more sturdy than they are. I have not had any problems as of yet.

Sometimes the latches have a tendency to come loose - something to consider.

This is a nice sturdy storage box. I was going to use it for odds and ends in the car, but ended up storing ammunition in it. Go figure. Now I have to buy another one for my car.

I bought it to make into a trunk for my NX650 after being dissapointed with what I got off [@] and I LOVE it! Not only is it watertight but it makes my bike look tougher. My only complaints are that the lock hole should be a little bigger and I would like to see it in black.

I purchased this as a replacement for a mailbox that was too small to accommodate the number of magazines and catalogs I receive along with other mail. The size is excellent. the hinged lid allows my letter carrier to flip it up , drop in the mail and drop the lid, thereby keeping all the mail dry. In bad weather, I don't have to step outside, I can just reach down, grab the handle and bring the whole box in. I would have liked it to have been available in black but the orange might add worthwhile visibility in the snow.
So far, it is just what I was looking for.
