    COMMENTS:

I was hesitant to buy these due to the many complaints in the reviews of the velcro straps being too short. So I called Duluth Trading and they got back to me via email with the following detailed explanation of the fitment of these knee pads:

"The upper straps are supposed to be 29 3/4" when fully extended this would accommodate a thigh of approximately 28 3/4" with one inch of grip for the hook-n-loop tape closure. The smallest setting could fit a thigh of about 15".

The lower straps could accommodate up to a 17" calve, plus or minus, again due to how much overlap you have on the securing hook-n-loop closure. We Came up with the 17" by have a 1" overlap. The lower straps themselves are 9 1/2" on one side and 3 1/2" on the other.

Note that these pads are a one size and are not offered in a Large. The knee pads themselves are labels with R & L for right and left designations."

I had another brand articulated knee pad where the pad itself floated around too much around the knee - these fit more snugly around your knee and leg. They almost feel like they are a part of your leg. The only negative I have found is while standing/walking the bottom edge of the pad digs into my shin slightly but does not when on my knees. I'm still experimenting with the adjustment to see if I can get rid of that. Overall a great design and highly recommended.

      COMMENTS:

I always read the reviews and saw where a few people were disappointed in these Knee Pads but in my experience, as a heavy equipment repairman, they are truly a blessing. They not only protect my knees they also add valuable support to them to help protect against injury.

        COMMENTS:

Just bought my pair at the Grand Opening in Noblesville IN. They look great but the Velcro strap isn't long enough to go around my leg. Doesn't appear they have a larger size either. Very disappointed they don't fit me.

        Too Small

        About Me Professional

        COMMENTS:

Okay- they appear to be well made, articulated, with a good pad at the knee. But beware- unless you're a tinkerbell, you'll have a hard time wearing these. I wear a pant size 36W-34L, so I'm not on the morbid obese list. The pads I received were labeled "L", but I couldn't get the bottom strap to reach, and the top strap only had about 1/4-inch of grip. Totally useless, and had to send them back.

They are comfortable and lightweight. They blow away the others I've used. You won't be disappointed!
