    COMMENTS:

The neck strap is too abrasive. Chaffee my neck overtime i use it. It could be made of softer more comfortable material. I added a piece of lambs wool. Works well for me.

        COMMENTS:

I have had this apron for over a year and it has done what is was meant to do. There are a few changes I would make to improve the functionality of the apron. First I would make the small pencil holder pocket larger. You can't put a small ruler in the back pocket and a pencil in the front pocket. Currently the small pockets are useless. The hammer loops on the side should be reinforced. After a years use the loops have become soft and misshaped. It now takes both hands to put the hammer in the loop. The straps are a joke. They twist and stretch and near the buckle they have worn almost in two. The straps going over the shoulder should be wider so not to cut into your neck when you are moving around. I like the mesh in the front lower pockets but they still fill up with dust. You have to shake the apron after you take it off to get all the dust out. I don't use the small tool pockets that are on the front of the apron because when I put a screw driver in the pocket and try to bend over the screw driver pushes into my gut. All in all this is a "OK" apron but it still needs a lot of work.

        COMMENTS:

The apron pockets are pretty good, compared to the competition. Just like some of the other reviews stated, if you keep screws in the mesh bottom pockets they're bound to get stuck. If you're like me, you'll just rip the stuck ones out pulling some fibers out with it. So only time will tell how long before they get a hole in them, but I do love that saw dust falls right though. The canvas material the apron is made out of seems very durable and I believe will last a long time. The biggest problem I have with the apron is with the straps. They are very flimsy and seems cheaply made. If you carry very much stuff in the pockets it pulls the front of the apron down and the straps slip through the front buckles. I had to pin mine in place. Not to mention it's not real comfortable. The shoulder straps could use a little padding. Trust me I'm not loading this thing down like a professional carpenter, just a hammer, nails/screws, pencil, phone, and a tape measure. I've found that if you run the waist strap through a belt loop or two it will help keep the neck strap from riding up and rubbing your neck raw. The fix would be to add suspenders like the other apron they sell. If that one had the pockets in the front I would of just bought that one from the get go. So my advice would be to buy a good tool belt with nice padded shoulder straps and buy the other apron to wear underneath it. I guess if you just got a quick job that only takes a couple hours this would work, but I definitely don't like wearing it all day! I love Duluth Trading, I'm sure they will take reviews like this and eventually make this apron great!

          COMMENTS:

Love the apron. It helps me keep everything right where I need it. My only issue is with the mesh bottom pockets. I wish the bottom of the pockets were made out of the same material as the apron. I use my apron for woodworking projects and screws tend to get caught in the webbing. Other than that, it's a great apron.
