Very durable capris!! They are just a bit snug in the waist but just right everywhere else. Still very comfortable. I am 5'5" and about 120#. I ordered the XS.

I love these. I appreciate that there is no spandex in them, because pants with spandex don't last and look funny as they wear. It's hard to kind women's pants without spandex. I work outside for a living and I can rarely find pants that aren't made of what I call "women-weight" fabric these days. These are perfect. The non-spandex fabric is cooler, too. The one short-coming is the sad color choice. The green color is great and acceptable for work. The raspberry color is useless for me. I don't wear colors that draw attention to me. How about tan, brown, navy?

I love these pants! I am 5'2" and the length in the small is just above my ankle. They are very sturdily built and have enough body to keep their shape. Customer service helped me choose the right size because my waist is at least a medium in the charts, but my hips are a small. Customer service has access to the exact (as possible) measurements of each model of clothing. The elastic waist in these gives me a perfect fit. If I had gone by the chart measurements I would have ordered a medium and ended up with "clown" pants as so often happens to me. So, thank you Customer Service!!

I intend to use them a lot while I am photographing because I need a sturdy, tough pant to get down on my knees from time to time. The double material on the knees gives extra padding (even without gardening pads). They would be fantastic for gardening, boating, etc. anywhere you might need some protection for your knees. They look so good, I am thinking of getting them in the raspberry colour as well. The Marsh Green is more properly a dusty brown tending towards green. Lovely colour. A sort of dark taupe.

My only "con" for these pants is the belt. Would have been better left off. Just elastic all the way around would be better and they would be softer around the waist. But it is a minor complaint, and if I could manage to overcome my laziness, I could just take out the belt (as another customer did) and put some sturdy elastic in instead. but for now they are just fine. Maybe the next model will come without the unnecessary belt, thus earning 5 stars from me!

I hated the belt...such a chore to use and was so bulky.
I removed it and just threaded through a length of waistband elastic, sewed the ends together, and these are now my PERFECT capris.

These are good quality pants. But for pants that are made for kneeing they should have some give and stretch. The waist has a solid nylon belt inside and the fabric does not give, so while I'm working in the garden - up and down on my knees- I feel constricted. Too bad, because they are otherwise just right. 2% spandex and a little stretch in the belt would make a world of difference!

Not the same as the gardening pants

Since I already own the regular garden pants, (and like them), I thought these would be useful for summer time. However after two attempts at sizing, I could not get a good fit and returned them. I also did not like the draw string ties. Too annoying to pull and too annoying to let them out again to get out of the pants. Also, the hanging strings were bothersome on the legs. Pants do have the good features of the regular ones, but these just didn't work for me.

I got the kneepad inserts to go with these pants and I love them. I no longer have to carry a kneepad around the garden with me. The pants are comfortable and breathe really well. Also, the adjustable waist is fantastic and doesn't bunch. And after a few hours of gardening I am amazed at how little dirt is clinging to them. They wash up well too. Highly recommend them.

Great in every way but one

              By Rosalina

              from Vermont

I am a gardener and these pants are great for kneeling, lightweight, lots of pockets and I just learned what the loop is for from reading other's reviews. Apparently you can hook your gloves on there.

My one problem is even with the belt done up, I am constantly hiking these pants back up to my waist after kneeling. Does anyone else have this problem? I am only about 5 foot 4 so I doubt that I need a longer inseam. What's the deal?

              My third pair!

I love the fit. Cut a bit larger than size, at least for me. Waist adjustment good, and I'm short(5'3") and the length is great! I have a pair I reserve for gardening/outdoors and use the others for work, etc.
If you want fitted pants don't get these.
