Barebones Hori Hori Does the Work of a Slew of Tools
The classic hori hori (literal Japanese translation “dig dig”) was already a versatile garden tool, but there’s just no topping the utility of this Barebones version. It trenches dirt like a trowel, saws through roots and vines, pounds tent stakes with the flat pommel, and measures planting depth with handy inch marks. The merbau handle seamlessly fits with the concave 6¾" pointed blade for a tool that just feels good in your hand. Added twine cutter doubles as a bottle opener, so you can pop the top off a cold one as you unwind by the campfire. Keep it always by your side, safe in its brawny 900-denier polyester belt sheath.
