STORY

The makiri is traditionally a Japanese fisherman’s knife used for dressing squid and fish as well as slicing through nets and rope. But its versatile size and blade style also make it an impressive outdoor enthusiast’s knife. Our Best Made Makiri Outdoor Knife is hand-forged by renowned knifemaker Tadafusa in Sanjo, Japan, a town known for blacksmithing since the 1600s. The fine carbon steel blade offers superior sharpness and edge retention and is chisel ground for durability and easy maintenance. Fitted with a handsome magnolia wood handle and sheath.
