Tough, reliable, not the greatest grip

Pros

  • Snug Fit/Stretch
  • Tough

Cons

  • Bad Grip

Best Uses

    COMMENTS:

I deliver beer for a living and gloves tend to wear and tear very quickly with the job. I've used these gloves daily for a few weeks now and have yet to see any signs of breaking. The only downside is that the grip is a little slippery, but that's the price you pay to have tough protection.

      COMMENTS:

I bought two pair of these gloves and used them for cutting, splitting and stacking 3 cords of firewood last spring. I like the fact that I could run the saw with them on but the seams in the fingers started splitting apart after a couple of days use. I used duct tape to mend each pair until the third finger split. At that point I was spending too much time re-taping so I through them out.

        COMMENTS:

The gloves fit snugly and are well made. There are grip fabrics strategically placed that will help holding on to tools and smooth surfaces. Nice clothing that will protect hands for a long time.

            COMMENTS:

These are perhaps the most frustrating gloves I have ever worked in! When it is cold the synthetic leather gets very slippery and you actually have to work harder to get a grip. Today it was 11 degrees and snowing and I could not pick up firewood because there was no grip; very frustrating. Also, if your hands sweat you will be cold because they do not breathe. To be fair this is my second pair, as Duluth does stand by their No Bull Guarantee. The first pair held up for about 18 months. Bottom line: a good glove when it is above 40 degrees.
