    COMMENTS:

Excellent coat. I replaced my Iron Range coat from Duluth with this one and it is excellent. The addition of a beefy zipper that can zip up from the bottom made it much better then my old coat. In addition, it is sharp, the pictures don't do it justice. I has roomy pockets for warming your hands too. Please bring this coat back.

      COMMENTS:

The fire hose canvas sheds briars like no other. It does not rip, fray, or even get worn. It is soft, yet indestructible. The coat itself is extremely warm, and I love the fit. I can wear the jacket with just a t shirt underneath, or I can put a sweatshirt, a flannel and another jacket on underneath when I want to layer. I have abused this jacket for the past few years and it still looks new. The buckles and zippers are very heavy duty. The jacket is heavy to hold in your hand, but you do not even know it is on when you wear it. The weight distribution is phenomenal, and the pockets are great. I can easily hold a days worth of hunting gear in this jacket. This jacket has "handwarmer pockets" that go down along the ribs and stomach. They are very deep and very warm. I store most of my gear in these, simply because of how easy they are to access. I am sad that this product is not available at the time, because I would be buying two or three more to last me my lifetime. I have never seen this kind of quality in any other coat before. This is far and away superior to anything that Carhartt could even hope to put on the market. Believe me, get this coat and you WILL NOT be disappointed.

I love this coat and wish they would bring it back. Loved that is had 4 pocket vs the 3 that most coats have. Love the toughness and the glove pocket, and all the pockets. Overall a great coat and would like another one.

          COMMENTS:

I probably own at least 10 different jackets and coats for different types of weather and activities. This coat is most often my go to coat. I wear it more than all the others combined. Some of them are expensive to. My experience is that this coat is warm in cold weather down to about 15-20 degrees with a regular long sleeve winter shirt. It will also keep you warm if you layer properly when it gets REAL cold as well. It has enough room to layer under it with sweat shirts, base layers, etc., and still be comfortable. Lots of pocket storage. I have yet to need all of it but do use most of it. I really like the zipper glove pocket. I put my crew wool hat in it and leave it there. That way I don't have to worry about taking it with me every time I leave the house. Its always there if I need it later. I have a couple of dogs that ride in the pick up with me and they shed. The dog hair brushes off the fire hose fabric easily. The coat is rugged to. If you get caught in the rain, no problem. It sheds water. You walk through brush, no problem, it slides right off, no snagging. It has a good strong zipper to that is easy to use. It stays where you leave it and the teeth won't pull apart. I have bought a lot from Duluth Trading Post the past few years but I think this is my favorite purchase and possibly the best one yet. And that says a lot because I have gotten a lot of good stuff from them. I have worn this coat through one winter now and am completely satisfied with it. The weather is getting warmer now, spring is here, so I'll have to put it up for a while until next winter. I'll miss it. I really enjoy everything about this coat.
