Comments about Duluth Trading Men's DuluthFlex Fire Hose Logger Pants:

Absolutely the best quality and confortable work pant I've ever owned. Terrific for outdoor work yet suitable for casual wear. The double layer of material where work pants wear the most guarantees years of performance. Duluth customer service is outstanding and their return policy cannot be improved upon. Definitely not my last order from Duluth.

Comments about Duluth Trading Men's DuluthFlex Fire Hose Logger Pants:

As a larger person, jeans don't fit me well. I bought these for weekenders. I got a chance to go on a "guided" private hunt and threw them in for sitting around the lodge. When we got there, I realized I hadn't packed any other pants, so they were it for 5 days. They were tough through the thorn bushes and brambles. The double front leg protected me very well, but the biggest surprise was when I put on some waders. The loggers breathed well so they didn't get clammy and they slid right into the waders without needing to get pulled into place and because of the flex, they worked great. I've now got the best pair of hunting pants I've ever owned.

Comments about Duluth Trading Men's DuluthFlex Fire Hose Logger Pants:

My son continues to ask for these pants for birthdays and gift occasions over and over. He was disappointed when the fabric changed, but then after wearing the flex fabric, decided he liked it better. He climbs trees for a living. Most often for tree service companies, but also does work for wildlife biologist bird study programs. So he has to climb to the top of trees while handling baby birds with great care, going both up and down. He loves these pants. Others fall apart on the job within the first month. The other standard work pants brand name that holds up to his work much better are stiff, hot, and uncomfortable. I guess these logger pants must be great work pants. He keeps wanting more of them. The reason they get four stars instead of five, is that every once in a while he gives me a pair to return that has torn or ripped out in less than a year's worth of work. He figures for the price, they should hold up for at least a year. Duluth always sends a new replacement pair with no questions. Excellent company. Great service.

Comments about Duluth Trading Men's DuluthFlex Fire Hose Logger Pants:

Right, so I had purchased the Logger Pants in the non-flex version last year and really liked them. I wanted to add another pair to my fishing/camping trip this year, and was sad that they only came in Flex, and that the Flex material was overall less beefy than traditional Fire Hose.

But, once I wore and worked in the pants, going into the woods for firewood, hopping in/out of boats, etc., I was VERY happy with how they performed. The Flex is nice on the meat, but it also doesn't snag you up on tree limbs or brush. Very smooth feeling pants, easy to take on or off. Good for changing to shorts or stripping down to sleep at night. Very breathable as well. Not too hot, not too cold. They fold/roll up very well, and won't take up a lot of space in your pack.

I didn't even end up using the non-Flex logger pants during my week in Voyaguer's. I will be buying more of these, and I wish I could wear these every day. Flex convert here, checking in.

Like the ruggedness of the material, but a little baggy in the legs for me.
Biggest complaint is the darn zipper will not stay up. Wished I would have sent them back.

These pants are a great alternative to khakis. Only minor complaint is that your stuff may fall out of your front pockets as they are sewn on top of the leg; not a big deal, I'm just more careful now.
