Comments about Duluth Trading Men's DuluthFlex Fire Hose Briar and Bramble Pants:

This product is awesome. I just love the pants. I have recreational land and I have some really nasty invasive thorny roses. Some of the thorns are almost an inch in length and these pants defend extremely well against them. I super wish you still had more of these in stock.

I also wish you'd commission chaps so for those of us who already have fire hose pants, could wear these as very light additional protection. The material is so light that it keeps me from over sweating.

P.S. Please make a dog jacket from that material. I know my hound would appreciate the light protective nature of it too.

Comments about Duluth Trading Men's DuluthFlex Fire Hose Briar and Bramble Pants:

I bought these pants to wear when riding my Harley on days when it doesn't rain much but the streets stay wet. The water resistant nylon facing is great for fending off the spray from my tires and othe traffic tires. When you don't really need a rain suit but want dry legs, these are perfect.

Comments about Duluth Trading Men's DuluthFlex Fire Hose Briar and Bramble Pants:

Bought these for my son, as his old upland hunting pants needed replacing. Was rather disappointed that the material was much thinner than I expected for fire hose pants. I guess I expected the same quality & thickness as the fire hose work pants - with a nylon facing. That was not the case here. They did fit him OK, but time will tell if they'll stand up to the thick, stiff-branched pines and black berry thickets that we hunt grouse in, in Northern MN. I also doubt they'll hold up to the briars, cattails and other brush in our pheasant hunts. I am not impressed for the price. I would say buy the fire hose work pants and be done with it - better quality for the money. Nylon facing is not that big an extra.

I bought these for my son for small game hunting. It is a high quality product and the fit is great. I ordered a larger size so he can wear pants underneath when the weather is cold. They are perfect. My only complaint is that they do not make them in enough sizes. I have longer legs and they are not available in my size. Too bad, cause I'd buy some for me too.

Like the title says...worth it. I don't think I've ever spent this much on a pair of pants but after clearing briars off some of my property I'd do it again.

I guide pheasant hunts and wear these pants every day. I now have several pair and have found that they wear well. They are comfortable and keep my legs from getting cut, poked or stuck. They are a snug fit when you put them on but relax as you wear them. I have washed them several times each and have never found them to fit differently after washing and drying.

Every pair of pants I own is size 36 waist, 34 inseam (jeans, khakis, etc). I've come to expect minor variations in actual size from one manufacturer to the next, but I could barely even get these to button. I don't think I've "grown" lately, all my other 36's still fit fine! Returning to eschange for 38's. I really want these to work out (TX hill country brush hunts are rough on the legs). I'll update my review if they do!

Upland hunting pant that isn't gangster baggy. I'm a short fit male. Seriously all upland pants from other companies fit way large and long. I read another review that said skinny jeans. They are a slim fit. But no way skinny jeans. This is nice as there is less to snag on in the field. Another review mentioned shrinking. There is probably some plan accordingly. Overall they are not as thick as other brands so if you need ultimate protection, thorns etc. these are not the ones for you. If you are looking for a good grass pant these are the best. I did use my own waterproofing which I knew I had to do with early morning hunts. Stylish enough to wear out and about too. These are the only thing that fits me in a land of giants. Duluth Trading Co. You are missing the market for smaller hard working folk. Please offer some smaller sizes in the future. Hard workers need not be Paul Bunian sized.

Comments about Duluth Trading Men's DuluthFlex Fire Hose Briar and Bramble Pants:

I was so excited that Duluth would make their fire hose flex pants for the field but this pant disappointed. The cut isn't nearly as generous and comfortable as the original fire hose flex pants. And the material isn't nearly tough enough (even the reinforced parts) for the field. Had to return. At this price point I expect everything perfection.
