Warmest gloves I have ever had!

By Ernie

About Me Casual/ Recreational

Pros

  • Great Insulation

Cons

  • Too Bulky

Best Uses

  • Extreme Conditions

COMMENTS:

May be a bit bulky but I trade that for nice warmth any day of the year!!! I have a lot of other gloves and they all claim to be very warm, some of them are skiing gloves and non are anywhere near as warm as these Alaskan Hardgear trigger finger gloves/mittens. I just came in from shoveling snow and I started with another pair of "warm" gloves because it was only 10 degrees with -5 windchill. After a half an hour my hands were freezing. Then I changed to my new Alaskan Hardgear Innoko trigger finger gloves/mittens and continued shoveling for an additional 1.5 hours and my hands remained warm! I highly recommend these gloves!!!

Cold fingers in 30 minutes - I am underwhelmed!

About Me Military/Law Enforcement

Pros

  • Good Grip

Cons

  • Poor insulation

Best Uses

  • Casual Wear

COMMENTS:

Regrettably, I was unimpressed with these gloves when I took them to work in 20-degree dry weather and within ten minutes, my index finger and thumb were numb; I do not have Raynaud's disease or circulation problems.
I would be remiss in saying that these gloves are well made and had they actually performed their job of insulating my hands from the cool weather, I could have overlooked the annoying lack of usable dexterity.

For the money, get a pair of electric or higher-end gloves that actually work,
