I backed this when it was a Kickstarter project, and ordered both sizes (they make a smaller size, see pic). At first I only used the smaller one. I always clip it to my daypack or purse and love how it collapses when empty, so I never lose it! My husband didn't like it at first, saying the water tasted weird - but that wasn't true. We have the best mountain well water, I drink it more than he, and the taste is not the least tainted. Soon he was drinking from it often when in the car with me. So I finally broke out the big one.
I was surprised to find that the larger one is even better for car travel because it fits securely into any cupholder. Also, I did not have to keep the spout closed when driving, so that was convenient.
You can drink it from the spout as a regular water bottle, or because it is silicon, squeeze and sip it. That was handy for my two-year old grandson. No leakage at all (unless you accidentally squeeze it with the spout open).
The top screws off for cleaning and to add water, and I only use it for water so no worries about some yuck li once you get over how different it is from regular reusable water bottles, you will see how much fun it is to use, and practical.ving in my water bottle. I wash it in the dishwasher about once a week with no loss of color or integrity. The included clip is really nice, not your basic carabiner.
Got this to go with my cooler.
Construction seems fine, the silicone could be punctured of course but easy to collapse and shove in a back pocket when not in use. Can also be carabineered to a work bag.
My only complaint is it can leak a little at the spout if you up end it while drinking.
