COMMENTS:

I really like this coat. It looks great. It is super comfortable and I've worn it when its five below zero with just a t shirt under it. It is a great coat. There is a big problem though and according to the other reviews this is a common problem. The filling inside the coat comes right through the material every time I wear it. Each time I wear it, more filling comes out of it and it completely covers whatever I'm wearing underneath. I'm worried it won't last very long which is a real bummer because despite such a big flaw I really liked this coat. Please fix this

    COMMENTS:

Wore my Alaskan Hardgear Tundraloft Parka while working the Iditarod Sled Dog restart in Willow, AK. During set-up day, we had blowing snow as we worked on a frozen lake to set up the race venue. With appropriate base and mid-layers, my Tundra Parka kept me warm and dry. Temperatures ranged from single digits to low 20s. The coat design gave me the freedom to complete our work without restriction, which involved snow shoveling, drilling holes in the ice, stretching web fencing for race lanes, and constructing crowd barriers. In the five years I have been working the Iditarod, this was by far the best coat for the task!

Warm jacket but it keeps on shedding the lining inside. I wore it over a suit jack for an hour and people thought I was covered in dog fur when I took the jacket off!

          COMMENTS:

This Alaskan Hardgear Tundraloft Parka has been the best jacket I have ever owned. The cold Canadian winds came through and I never felt an ounce of wind through the jacket. The lined warm pockets for your hands are toasty warm. Love the light weight and comfort of this jacket including not sweating while working. This Alaskan Tundraloft Parka is well above a five star jacket.
