      COMMENTS:

I have been looking for an affordable pair of cold weather mittens for some time. I bought a pair of these and am very disappointed. The shell itself seems to be OK, but there is little or no insulation. I near zero F weather, I fairly quickly had to resort to my old stand-by gloves when shoveling snow here in northern Ohio.

              COMMENTS:

Bought these last year for the purpose of snow removal, well its been a few cold snowfalls since. These have not performed up to expectations. Few days at 0F & minus chills, these do not hold up well, even added another glove under. no luck. Fingers cold within a few minutes. Can feel the wind come right through. Probably best around 25F and up..

              COMMENTS:

Come on, Duluth. How can you sell winter mitts that fail at 34 degrees? I used these once for a pretty typical snow removal process around our home and had to change out to an old pair after about twenty minutes of work.

                COMMENTS:

I am an avid cyclist, and ride my bike to all of my various jobs (registered nurse, bouncer, trainer) year -round. Living in a large city in the northeast, there is a multitude of ways in which the weather can be absolutely miserable, and change throughout the day and night. These glove/mitten chimera happy hand warmers are great! Fit my orangutan hands, easily crammed in a backpack, warm and cushiony and yet nimble and dexterous enough for role playing as a flipper fingered mutant.
