    COMMENTS:

So first off this lunch box is amazing. Plenty of pockets for miscellaneous lunch stuff. And the insulation and quality is perfect. BUT I have to return it. It's plenty tall, and long, but way to thin. None of my Tupperware fit and I had to stack everything on top of one another which makes t really tough to keep fruit in good shape. And really annoying if you want to eat something that's closer to the botttom. If it was maybe 3-4" wider / thicker it would be PERFECT. Please please please make another one like this but wider to fit larger Tupperware without having to tip it over. Just needs more surface area!

My dad works for the Railroad, this lunchbox is perfect!

      COMMENTS:

My Dad works for the Railroad so he has to pack large lunches/dinners for his trips. Over the last 20yrs he has bought numerous lunch boxes & coolers including the personal size Yeti which lasted maybe one trip because it was so dang heavy! He ended up giving that expensive cooler away to his engineer as a gift! But, I digress...He recently went to a yard sale where he purchased a small, personal sized lunchbox/cooler from DTC and was absolutely thrilled at his find. Unfortunately it was not big enough to pack everything that he needed (trust me, he tried.) My Dad loves to 'rig' stuff (we call it Christopher'ing) so he had all kinds of stuff hanging off of that poor little lunchbox because he wanted to use it so desperately. After that failed, his latest creation, in which he called a lunchbox was just hideous and a huge eye sore, I was mortified everytime I would help him pack his lunches! I was determined to find him the perfect, never going back to Christopher'ing lunchboxes again, lunch bag that would hold all of his food, drinks & then some! So that is what brought me to DTC's website, in hopes of finding the perfect bag since he loved the one from the yard sale so much. Well folks, I FOUND IT! Not only is this lunchbox, bag, cooler the perfect size and fit - it looks like it was designed for a railroader to carry! So, for his recent 53rd birthday my sister and I split the cost of the bag because it is a bit pricey (but totally worth it!) He was again, thrilled when he opened the huge DTC box and found the bag. He could not wait to get home so that he could add all of his bells and whistles to it. Now my only issue is that he will not get off of DTC's website and informing me of what all he 'has to have.' Thank You DTC for developing the perfect lunchbag so that I am finally at peace and no longer have to witness the Christopher'ing of lunchbags. Now if DTC would get the cheater, wrap around clear glasses in diopter 2.0 back in stock my life would be perfect!

Big enough to carry 12 hr of food and pockets for stuff

      COMMENTS:

The large interior pocket can carry my 6 pack of 1/2 liter bottle soda, my meal, and 1 quart sized blue ice block. It stays cold for 12 hours. It also has many other pockets to store my work gloves, flashlight, cellphone charger, and salt and pepper shakers. The only weakness is the shoulder strap. I would like to divide the main compartment to keep cold away from dry items. I use ziploc bags now but it isn't idle. A better upgrade from my "Karl" lunchbox. Outside doesn't produce condensation either.

      the Escalade of lunch bags

        COMMENTS:

Basically this bag is a combination of a messenger style bag that looks like a tool bag. It will hold a lot and then it will hold some more. It has one HUGE cooler pocket that has extra lining and then there are several smaller pouches/pockets scattered over the outside of the bag. Some of these are useful and others I doubt I would ever even open. But they are there so if you need them, you got them. This is a well made bag throughout with one exception---the bottom of the bag. It feels weak and as though there is some piece of cardboard in there. Has a dipped concave area in the bottom already which makes me wonder just how long it will hold up to the amount of items (aka weight) Duluth says to put in it---ie "feed the whole crew". Unless you just need a massive lunch bag with lots of pockets I think the Karl or whatever the medium bag is called would do the trick with no problem.
