STORY
Made by the legendary Atelier Perceval, this small folding knife has a rare elegance that’s equally well-suited to city streets or forest trails. Inspired by a 17th-century blade, this Le Français model pocket knife features striking juniper wood scales, which have a pleasant peppery scent. The blade is forged of Sandvik 19C27 steel that’s been been hardened in liquid nitrogen, preferred by chefs for its performance. This cryogenic treatment makes it extremely durable, rustproof, and easy to sharpen, while a smooth liner lock mechanism keeps the blade secure during use. All Perceval knives are slow-ground and polished by hand in Thiers, France, resulting in a finish that carries the pride of a centuries-old design.
