Can’t Help But Get Fired Up About This One-of-a-Kind Knife
STORY
The knife of a lifetime. Hand-wrought and utterly unique, the Stono Hudson Bay Survival Knife is a worthy gift to commemorate life’s greatest triumphs and a practical tool to keep forever at one’s side. The 6-inch Damascus steel blade bears the marks of the forger’s hammer, displaying the skill required to shape the high-carbon steel. A flat grind with secondary bevel adds blade strength, while brass pins and liners withstand decades of rigorous use. The knife even takes the place of a fire striker, thanks to the 90-degree angled spine that can be used to strike a spark. An Appalachian hickory handle is finished using a proprietary version of the centuries-old Shou Sugi Ban process of charring the wood to reveal its textural beauty. The finishing touch: a maker’s mark in the heel plate featuring an engraving of Hercules. Strength down to the last detail, indeed.
